Mr. Peterson takes on a variety of cases at The Castle Law Firm including both criminal and civil matters. He is licensed to practice in North Carolina and regularly appears in court in Onslow and Jones County. Mr. Peterson focuses his practice on criminal defense, child support, child custody, divorce, domestic violence, and trial practice.
Mr. Peterson is a native of Chestertown, a small, rural town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He moved to North Carolina in 2009 to attend undergraduate school at Catawba College in Salisbury. While at Catawba he was a two sport Division II NCAA athlete in football and lacrosse. He graduated cum laude in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law Studies. Mr. Peterson then attended Campbell University School of Law from 2013-2016, graduating in the top 25% of his class. He also won book awards for receiving the highest grade in two courses, including one in Constitutional Law.
Mr. Peterson’s hobbies include staying active by doing CrossFit, flag football, lacrosse, volleyball, and any other athletic activities as well as spending time at the beach year-round.
